Firerated Ductwork
Allducts Ventilation Services Ltd are approved installers of the FIReTRACE Ductwork ltd.’s fire rated ductwork system known as “FireSafe”
This system is a non-coated system and conforms to BS476 part 24 and is listed in the
Building Research Establishment’s RedBook Live and has Loss Prevention Certification Board (LCB) approval

· Stairwell Pressurisation
Compliant to the following specification and standards
• BS 476 Part 24: 1987
• BS 5588 Part 9.
• DW 144
• DW 172
• Approved Document B1 (means of escape) and B3 (internal fire spread through structure)
• Access Doors available to meet the same fire resistance as the installed system
• Low Pressure – Class A – 500 Pa positive or negative.
• Medium Pressure – Class B – 1000 Pa positive or negative.
• High Pressure – Class C – 2000 Pa positive or negative
The System can achieve up to 4 Hours Stability and Integrity and 2* hours Insulation
Fire rated ductwork is classified as passive fire protection and as such, FIReTRACE and their partners,
work to the same methods and procedures, inspecting and signing off all correctly installed systems,
prior to issuing a certificate of conformity.
